Dr. Jacqueline Tung O.D.
Dr. Tung has been practicing optometry since the early 2000's, and has been operating Eye Health Optometry since 2012.
Experienced and energetic, Dr. Tung will always have a smile for you, and guarantees that you will be able to see it perfectly!
Dr. Tung received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, before completing her Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
She has extensive clinical training through the Veteran Hospital in Gainsville, Florida; the Katzen eye group in Maryland; and the Eye Institute in Pennsylvania, the LASIK eye centers, and Vision Therapy in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Tung's primary interests are preventative eye care and specialty contact lenses fitting, as well as treatment and diagnosis of various eye conditions/ diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
She is an expert on difficult-to-fit contact lens cases, such as Keratoconus contact lens fitting i.e. scleral lens and Karasoft IC, and orthokeratology, CRT, ortho- K (overnight corneal reshaping contact lenses to correct nearsightedness).
Dr. Tung is an active member of the San Mateo County Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the Give the Gift of Sight.
Dr. Wayne Halstrom O.D.
Dr. Halstrom has been in practice in the Bay Area for the past 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley with highest honors as well as a membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
After more than 30 years of practicing optometry, Dr. Halstrom has decided to retire in 2018 and spend more time with his family and enjoy the Florida sun.
He will continue to be our honorary board member for our growing practice.
