Dr. Jacqueline Tung O.D.
Dr. Tung has been practicing optometry since the early 2000's, and has been operating Eye Health Optometry since 2012.
Experienced and charismatic, Dr. Tung will always have a smile for you, and guarantees that you will be able to see your best!
Dr. Tung received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, before completing her Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Tung is licensed in California to treat Glaucoma and other eye diseases since 2004.
She has extensive clinical training through the Veteran Hospital in Gainsville, Florida; the ophthalmology eye group in Maryland; the Eye Institute in Pennsylvania, the LASIK eye centers, and Vision Therapy in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Tung's primary interests are preventative eye care and specialty contact lenses fitting (CRT-Orthokeratology for myopia control, scleral lenses fitting for keratoconus, post-LASIK contact lens fitting etc.) as well as treatment and diagnosis of various eye conditions/ diseases, including but not limited glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
Dr. Tung is an active member of the San Mateo County Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association. She also volunteered at the Give the Gift of Sight organization.
Dr. Wayne Halstrom O.D.
Dr. Halstrom has been in practice in the Bay Area for the past 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley with highest honors as well as a membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
After more than 30 years of practicing optometry, Dr. Halstrom has decided to retire in 2018 to spend more time with his family while enjoying the Florida sun.
He will continue to be our honorary board member for our growing practice.
